Fat Tony's beatbox tutorials - Abra / crab scratch (guest hosted by LuckeyMonkey)

I don't like the Abra scratch but it seemed that every other message I received was requesting a tutorial for one. I really don't like the scratch at all. I don't like how it sounds, I don't like that everybody thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, I don't like anything about it. I didn't want to do an Abra scratch tutorial. So I didn't. This is my girlfriend, the incredibly talented LuckeyMonkey. It's her first beatbox tutorial as well, and I may well ask her to do some more in the future. Check her out at http://www.youtube.com/luckeymonkey - subscribe, check her videos, etc. The Abra scratch is also commonly called the crab scratch, finger scratch, and transformation scratch. To make the sound: 1 - Make a kissy face 2 - Put your finger against your lip (or, indeed, any part of your hand / arm / foot) 3 - Inhale whilst breathing words like "too" or "tooka" 4 - Use uvular oscillation and clickrolls to add rolls to the scratch 5 - Put into a beat 6 - Note that there are a massive variety of ways you can do this sound. The finger and thumb method described is the most common when it comes to putting the sound into a beat because it's possible to do it whilst holdinga microphone. Hope you enjoy the video, more guest videos may well come in the future. Updated on a tentative weekly schedule (I say tentative because let's face it, stuff goes wrong - I get ill, or my camera explodes, or my laptop transforms and leaves me) this series will teach you the ins and outs of beatboxing, as well as some ups and downs and even a few lefts and rights. Please feel free to hit the subscribe button, or leave a comment mentioning my awesomeness. If you would like help with the sounds or feedback on your beats, post a video response showing the sound as you are doing it, and I will be happy to give feedback. AskSamHarris.com Sam Harris shows off his pink private parts!

► http://AskSamHarris.com Sam promised to show photos of his vocal chords, and here they are in the flesh. Why can't you eat or drink dairy products before singing? ... Sam Harris can't drink milk or eat dairy before singing as it causes oral phlegm deep in the throat. He previously explained how vocal chords are similar to a vagina. Sam impersonates the action it performs in the original video. No sex, not porn! Vocal chord photos from his Doctor as promised in AskSamHarris.com #10 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XuamnH0WNE Enjoy! The larynx is located in the throat and contains the vocal chords and glottis. With the exhalation of breath, the diaphragm forces air up through cartilage "horn" of the larynx by contracting. The air moves through the vocal chords, which are situated in the muscular vibrating folds of the larynx, and the glottis, the space formed between them. By stretching the vocal chords, adjusting the tension and varying the air pressure through the glottis, the pitch of our voice is adjusting, tuning higher or lower. A lower sound requires a longer column of air and is felt in the chest, a higher sound uses a shorter column of air and is felt in the nose and head ------------------------------------------- ► http://SamTUBE.com ... ► http://SamVLOG.com ... behind the scenes in the everyday life of Sam. ► http://AskSamHarris.com ... ask Sam anything, and he'll reply via a vlog. ► http://SamHarris.com/answers ... answer link from the "Ask Sam Harris" series. ► http://MySpace.com/SamHarrisMusic ... keep up to date, and be Sam's MySpace friend! ► http://SamTUNES.net ... to download Sam Harris songs and full albums. ► http://SamHarris.com ... information, biography, discography and buy cds. Fat Tony's beatbox tutorials - Easier bongo

The bongo drum was a little tricky for some of you, so here is a far easier way of making a bongo sound. See if you find it any easier. There aren't really any beats to practice here so just watch the original bongo tutorial - like I say, I'm ill at the moment. Sorry for the lateness! How to make the sound: 1 - Learn the inward K 2 - Do the inward K sound with a low pitched "ew" sound immediately afterwards 3 - This sounds kinda naff by itself, so put it into a beat Updated on a tentative weekly schedule (I say tentative because let's face it, stuff goes wrong - I get ill, or my camera explodes, or my laptop transforms and leaves me) this series will teach you the ins and outs of beatboxing, as well as some ups and downs and even a few lefts and rights. Please feel free to hit the subscribe button, or leave a comment mentioning my awesomeness. Fat Tony's beatbox tutorials - Thank you

My, what a week. This is just a video thanking everybody for the great support, as well as the reason these videos are very late. The Roxorloops video being featured really was amazing - I still cannot believe it, if I'm honest. It's brilliant though, and I welcome every single new viewer I have as a result. Fat Tony's beatbox tutorials - Tongue clop

Hmm hopefully this clears up some confusion. This is a very quiet sound. It sounds far better into a microphone than without, put it that way. The "pouring water" is a great thing to do, it's very simple and fun. How to make the sound: 1 - Curl your tongue back without touching the top of your mouth 2 - Flick your tongue downwards so it hits the floor of your mouth 3 - This can be done while humming or with an open throat to make it hollow sounding. Fat Tony's beatbox tutorials - Fast hi-hats

Fast hi-hats. Now you can beatbox fast. Woo for you. I'll have a video with beats to practice when I do the next tutorials. Woulda done one this time but five vids at once would have been majorly overkill. How to make the sound: 1 - Say "tikka", then take away the "ih" and "ah" so you just get a "tk" sound 2 - Notice how you use the front of your tongue for the "t" and the back of your tongue for the "k". This is what allows you to make the tktk sound so fast 3 - Go tktktktk as fast or as slow as you want - sorted Updated on a tentative weekly schedule (I say tentative because let's face it, stuff goes wrong - I get ill, or my camera explodes, or my laptop transforms and leaves me) this series will teach you the ins and outs of beatboxing, as well as some ups and downs and even a few lefts and rights.
