AskSamHarris.com Sam Harris shows off his pink private parts!

► http://AskSamHarris.com Sam promised to show photos of his vocal chords, and here they are in the flesh. Why can't you eat or drink dairy products before singing? ... Sam Harris can't drink milk or eat dairy before singing as it causes oral phlegm deep in the throat. He previously explained how vocal chords are similar to a vagina. Sam impersonates the action it performs in the original video. No sex, not porn! Vocal chord photos from his Doctor as promised in AskSamHarris.com #10 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XuamnH0WNE Enjoy! The larynx is located in the throat and contains the vocal chords and glottis. With the exhalation of breath, the diaphragm forces air up through cartilage "horn" of the larynx by contracting. The air moves through the vocal chords, which are situated in the muscular vibrating folds of the larynx, and the glottis, the space formed between them. By stretching the vocal chords, adjusting the tension and varying the air pressure through the glottis, the pitch of our voice is adjusting, tuning higher or lower. A lower sound requires a longer column of air and is felt in the chest, a higher sound uses a shorter column of air and is felt in the nose and head ------------------------------------------- ► http://SamTUBE.com ... ► http://SamVLOG.com ... behind the scenes in the everyday life of Sam. ► http://AskSamHarris.com ... ask Sam anything, and he'll reply via a vlog. ► http://SamHarris.com/answers ... answer link from the "Ask Sam Harris" series. ► http://MySpace.com/SamHarrisMusic ... keep up to date, and be Sam's MySpace friend! ► http://SamTUNES.net ... to download Sam Harris songs and full albums. ► http://SamHarris.com ... information, biography, discography and buy cds. Spasmodic Dysphonia: A Peculiar Voice Disorder

Dr. Robert Bastian reviews the various types and subtypes of a rare neurological voice disorder called spasmodic dysphonia--SD. Numerous voice examples are included, along with video of the vocal folds. Spasmodic dysphonia (SD) is a rare neurological disorder caused by laryngeal dystonia, and it interferes with the smooth functioning of the voice. Tiny spasms of the vocal folds may cause the voice to catch or cut out, strain or squeeze away, and sometimes to drop momentarily to a whisper. Those watching this tape will hear examples of the many types of SD. http://www.bastianvoice.com

Learn How to Belt Out a Song

The ability to project one's voice is an important part of a singer's performance is discussed in this free video series that will show you how to perfect your singing and vocal technique. In this portion I'm going to talk about belting. Belting is very similar to speaking with your voice. I will survive, I will survive if I sing just like that. I will survive, I will survive as long as I know how to love I know I would be alive. I'm just speaking I'm speaking on my voice. If I'm not speaking on my voice I will survive, I will survive, I will survive. Inserting a different artistic choice but not the belt that we are looking for. You have to expand, be brave to make a louder room. A lot of vocals take up a lot of vocal space in your compartment. I will survive, speak the words before you sing it, speak it on your voice. I would survive, I will survive, as long as I know how to love I know I would be alive. eHow Article: Learn How to Belt Out a Song

Singing Lessons: Belt Voice

In singing lessons, the belt voice comes from the gut and produces a louder fuller sound. Practice the belt voice with tips from a professional singer in this free video on vocal technique. OK. Lady J here. And I'm talking about some basic vocal technique. OK. You heard, in the previous segment, you heard me talk about a head voice. For men your falsetto, so. In this one I want to talk to you about what I'm really good at and what I like to, to use. And that's my chest or my belt, down here. So I was "Oh Lord my God". I'm going to show you the difference. That's your head voice. "Oh Lord my God". Now the positioning in your throat's going to be a little bit different instead of (demo) "Oh Lord my God". In front here, you're going to, you're going to deepen it a little bit and come back and "Oh Lord" it's almost like a, a talking, almost a, almost like a yell, but you're not going to want to hurt your throat, so. I'll teach you a little bit more about that. In a few other segments. But kind of sing and try it out. Try these different sounds out. And figure out what you're doing. OK? So you've got "Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made". Alright, that's kind of got mostly belt with a little bit of a mix. Next segment I'm going to talk to you about a mix. OK?

Singing Lessons Learn How to Sing Video Breathing Control

http://www.OneMinuteU.com Singing Lessons Learn How to Sing Video Breathing Control one of the things that I think is very important about singing is breath control, right? So many people talk about breath control, how can I get more breath so I can make that song more brilliant? there are a couple of things you can do. one of them is very simple, and that's swimming. who would have known, right? if you swim every day, you will really build up your breath control. swim underwater, hold your breath, swim underwater, right? the other thing you can do is called the candle exercise. take a candle, light it, put it really close to your face -- about here -- don't burn yourself, and then take a deep breath and blow out and don't blow out the candle. takes a lot of control. How to Overcome Laryngitis - Joni Wilson

http://www.OneMinuteU.com How to Overcome Laryngitis - Joni Wilson ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ hi, I'm Joni Wilson, and as a voice coach, I get calls all hours of the day and night from desperate people who have no voice left to deliver their message or sing their song. it's called laryngitis, and it comes in four varieties: infectious, contact, allergic, and the one I work with, mechanical. first three are treated by doctors and medication, the fourth is caused by misuse and voice abuse. it's easy to tell the difference. if your problem is voice abuse, all the medication and rest in the world isn't going to fix it. there's only one way to eliminate mechanical laryngitis, and that's by learning how to use your voice properly. so stop wasting your money on doctors and medication, invest in a good vocal coach and your voice will last a lifetime. oh, and if your voice is raspy, don't whisper. whispering chokes and damages your vocal chords. if you've got something to say, write it down. for further information, visit virtualvoicecoach.com. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Are you an Apprentice fan? Beth's First Laryngoscopy - Vocal Cords in Action

From the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. This is what happens when I say "eee" with a camera down my throat. There are no vocal nodules (don't let the mucus confuse you) but you can see a slight thickening of the membrane where the nodes have been / could be in the future. Note also that the trachea is visible when I breathe. Cool huh? Actual size: roughly that of a quarter. (Note: If you think you're really clever by making a comment comparing this to female genitalia, you're not. I've deleted dozens, and yours will be next.)
